One Butt Kitchen

Our house was built in the early 1960's. Our kitchen is still stuck there. We still have the original cabinets, cooktop and flooring. I like to call it a "one butt" kitchen. We are a family of six but only one person can really function in the kitchen at a time. Our appliances are not very safe and I fear what could go wrong. I love my home but I am embarrassed of my kitchen. Please help us!!!!
