Mud/Laundry/Bath (rooms)

Floor replacement gone bad!

The floor in the laundry room was bad, so we decided to replace it. After removing the old floor, we found water damage from the washer. The sub floor was replaced and some wall studs replaced. In the process we found rats had been in the walls. We removed drywall from the laundry room, into the bathroom. They went behind the shower, so it also was removed. WE HAD FOUND THE NEST!!! It was under the shower. They must have liked the warmth. Almost a year later, the washer and dryer are in an unfinished room, with no insulation, no ceiling. There is still no toilet, sink, shower, or floor. Our simple floor replacement turned this mess! Someday we will have this remodel finished, SOMEDAY!
