Hello -- I bought my house almost 2 years ago, and I'm getting ready to try and sell it, but I think the kitchen is going to hold me back -- BIG TIME. The house was built in 1976, and while I've done a lot of cosmetic improvements throughout the house, the kitchen still looks like 1976. The cupboards are original, the counter-tops are brown and orange formica, the pantry door is that signature '70's dark brown (with holes in it)and the laundry is right out there for everyone to see. I would really like to expand the kitchen out a little, hide the laundry and make it look like a kitchen you'd like to spend time in (rather than a place where you should be wearing hot pants and listening to disco). Please, oh please help me with my kitchen.
Here's my kitchen now...and this doesn't do it justice. Note: I did re-paint the cabinets from their original dark brown wood.
