Cub Pack 319 and hundreds of Boy Scouts, Cub Scout and Girl Scouts from local troops and packs placed flags on over 5,000 flags today at Evergreen Washelli. Scouts also placed flags at memorials throughout the region.
Dawson Moody, with most of Pack 319 of Shoreline, placed flags at markers of military men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. Moody remembered his grandfather's naval service, stories, and the recent passing of one of the veterans in the family.
Today is about all the men and women who served and life long memories for these Cub Scouts as they worked together on a rainy morning adding importance of what they do to remember those who have gone before. Memories that these scouts won't forget and that the service men and women haven't been forgotten.
