Recently widowed grandma left to raise her grandchildren alone after the untimely death of her husband and daughter. This fourth generation home has seen it's share of sadness. The kitchen/dinning area is the “heart” of this home and has seen no updates since it’s original build. Cracker-box kitchen limits any function for a busy young family. The children need to feel that they have a “Forever Home” that is safe. This family is truly worthy of a happily ever after!
THIS KITCHEN is the key to… Past, Present and Future!

It looks like this family’s kitchen needs some serious TLC, and proper storage space. Nothing is worse than cooking in an unorganized kitchen. Good luck to you!!

I know this family, the late husband was a well loved Santa on the Eastside. He gave freely of his time and skills to those in need. Because of his kindness many people have very special Christmas memories. His widow is extremely deserving.

This grandmother deserves to win this contest! She and her grandchildren need a functional kitchen that is safe. Many good memories should come their way in a comfortable kitchen. The grandma is obviously a "giver", so I think she should receive!

This grandmother should have an updated kitchen that matches the energy that her grandchildren probably have.

Grandma should be enjoying retirement and is probably on a fixed income. She deserves a break, fix her kitchen please!

Grandparents left to raise grandkids is a growing trend. Our socity provides little support for grandparents in this situation. Winning this contest would be well deserved for this family and thier future together.

I would like to support this widowed grandmother that is now acting a a mother again to what sounds lie young children. It is a big job to raise kids when you are young, and I can't imagine what it is like to do it when you are older. Good example!
