Reward For A Hard Day's Scramble!

6/30/12 Mountaineers scramble to Ingalls Peak in the Teanaway area north of Cle Elum. We went there expecting/hoping to see the goats, older and newer, but it wasn't until we were on the way down (and I was trying not to be too disappointed) that we came upon this tri-generational family of six (?) mellow mountain goats snacking on whatever they were finding on the rocks. What a thrill! My first encounter. A gorgeous day too.

one of my old favorite hikes...hope you jumped in the COLD lake before the trip back!!!!!
