We were staying with friends who own a home next to Lake Chelan. On Saturday evening of September 8th, we were surrounded by displays of lightnings. Being from the Seattle area, we did not think much of what could have followed the lightnings. By Sunday afternoon, we saw smokes coming from behind the hills, on the other side of the Lake...that was when we learned that lightnings which we enjoyed earlier had ignited many - many wildfires.
