These two ambulances retired from AMR and a privatley owned one was recently donated thru Rotary International to Lima Peru. One that was donated came from AMR went to Tukwila Rotary and the larger one was owned by David Holmes and donated to Northshore Rotary to also go to Lima Peru. Gary Jang (Northshore Rotarians) his wife and his daughter with her husband along with David and Gayleen Holmes will meet this ship in Lima for the formal dedication to Peru to be used by Peruvian Navy and a hospital in Lima. The crane used was donated by NESS Crane service and Mr. Kleppe (owner). The Longshoremen;'s union gave their free service as well as the riggers, operators and others involved in this operation. This could not have happened without their valuable assistance. The Customs service, and others made this shipment possible. There are so many involved in this shipment that is it is hard to list all but we are so thankful for their assisitance none the less.
