This photo was taken from the stern of the West Seattle Water Taxi on the morning of the 16th of October. The sun had just emerged from behind a cloud and lit up the sky while the downtown skyline remained in the shadows. No wind was present (confirmed by the stillness of the water), however, at the exact moment I snapped this photo a gust of wind brought Old Glory to life. It was a powerful moment for me.
