In the Mountlake Terrace and Edmonds area the public drains are not ready for this level of downfall. Roads are shut down and road crews are scrambling to save houses and stuck cars. This picture is in Mountlake Terrace where water has reached thigh high in places. During a drive to the doctor we saw 3 roads shut down and numerous cars stalled from the depth of water backing up in the streets.
