During this morning's windstorm, which coincided with a very high tide, the north parking lot of the Des Moines Marina was completely underwater. Local residents say they have never seen this before.

I was there around 9 this morning, and it was wild. I've lived here for 11 years and have never seen that much flooding in the Beach Park (never in the lot). The water was 1-2 feet from going over the walking bridge. Quite a sight to experience.
