John Rogers Elementary School had unusual visitors today! As part of a program to encourage kids to read fiction, Ms. Drown's 4th grade class has been studying horses.

On this perfectly sunny Friday (May 16th), John Rogers students enjoyed a visit from two local horses. This awesome encounter gave the students a valuable "hands on" introduction to horses.

The grand finale of John Rogers' "Horse Course" will be an overnight trip to Lang's Farm in Mt. Vernon for Horse Camp.
