My husband and I were heading up to the Methow Valley for a few days of cross country skiing Monday, February 11, when we caught sight of this driving north on Highway 97 east of Chelan. The combination of the teepee, the eagle, the Columbia River and the snow covered Cascade foothills was too classically American to pass up.
