Bob (my hubby) was caught napping with his head on the dog blanket in the dog bed with our dog Ruben. Yes, sometimes Ruben sleeps with one or both eyes open. I saw that endearing sight and just had to snap a picture. Side note: When trying to be quiet...don't use the flash!

I know both Bob and Ruben.... This is not unusual behavior for them.
