While driving along on of the tributaries of the Skagit river when I spotted this regal looking fellow. I was lucky enough to capture this striking image as my feathered friend did not seem to bothered by my presence and took little notice.

Great picture!!! My husband has also captured these elegant creatures many times on his way to and from work. It is amazing how calm they are and it is true most of the time the "Picture Taker" does not faze them at all...
