Snow covers a Forsythia bush in Black Diamond, WA on March 21, 2013. Last year's snowfall fell on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2012, but none of my friends or coworkers seem to remember(even though I have photographic proof!). So when I told them that it always snows in March(or April),they just laughed. I'll admit, it was a bit of an off winter and lacked any weather event of epic proportions like in years past. And yes, it probably didn't help that it was almost 60 degrees outside and sunny skies when I was making my argument that winter wasn't through with us yet. But none of that matters now because I can now officially tell them all, "I told you so!"
