My Mom Rhonda Hansen just found out that she has breast cancer for the third time. She has to have a double mastectomy and go through chemotherapy. The first couple times she had breast cancer she just had to have the lump removed and then radiation (which she would go to on her lunch break at work so she wouldn't miss a day).

My mom needs help, for once I want her to put her illness AFTER her work. I don't want her to have to worry about making ends meet. She's been such an inspiration in my life. She never lets me see her scared, hoping that then I won't be. She's always there when I need a shoulder to cry on. She let my boyfriend and I move in with her when I got pregnant and helped us through all the rough spots. She's gone through so much in her life, from abuse to complete knee surgery before the age of 50.Staff infection, which she had this past year where she had to have treatments everyday (she had a pick line in her arm) for about 2 months.

Insurance will pay for her to have the surgery but mastectomy's the take off everything. She wants to have implants right away but can't afford to take the time off. Mastectomy alone takes 3-4 weeks to heal and she's talking about going back to work in 2 weeks. Then working while having very strong doses of chemo.

My friend works at US bank and has set up a account for my Mother in hopes to raise money for her. It's called the "Rhonda Hansen Breast Cancer Fund" You can go into any US bank tell them the name and donate money. If you could help me get her story out and help me raise money for her so she can be healthy 100% for almost the first time in probably 15 years. I have all the paper work you need to show you this is all for a great cause. Please help. I'm willing to do anything to help my Mom out.
