Moon Closeup

Heavenly Night

Progression of objects through the night. Photos of
Jupiter, Saturn, comet PAN-STARRS and the moon were taken around 9PM,3AM and 5:30am respectively. PAN-STARRS was a bit
difficult to find with the near full moon and fading fast with the rising sun. Photo of PAN-STARRS was taken with a DSLR and 500mm lense using an ISO of 1600 and a 10 second
exposure. The planet pictures were 2-minute avi movies processed using Registax. Considerable moisture in the air so the quality of the photos were not as good as I had hoped.
