Geese Crossing

The Geese Whisperer Lives on!

About a month or so ago, Debra and I noticed a family of 4, two "parents" and two newborn Geese. Almost like clockwork the 4 left the pond area behind our home in Redmond to cross 116th Street to another wildlife area for the evening...next day, they'd be back and everyday since, now joined by a family of 6, they all cross around the same time each evening...I've been home from work on many occasions and at the sound of Debra's voice, "Guy, they're getting ready" I spring into action to act as a crossing guard for our new neighbors....This evening, no different, and every car stops and every car gives me a thumbs up or applause as they drive by, often with their kids noses pressed to the window or hanging outside the car to take pictures....been fun to watch! Sure has helped us acclimate to Washington life as we just moved here last August. Loving it!
