ISS passing directly beneath Polaris

ISS Crossing Polaris

While preparing for the Perseid Meteor Shower I was practicing long exposure techniques, and knew the International Space Station would be passing over, so I set up my camera and began shooting. I had no idea ISS would pass directly beneath Polaris, the North Star!

Really lovely capture I haven't seen any meteors yet, but I am looking at the ISS keenly when it is flying over!

No way you didnt see this coming! :) If you didnt, some statisticians probably just committed suicide :) Btw, which iss-tracker do you use? coz the alerts i get, just say max height and the start-end of transits :( Respect, Mate (Budapest, HU)

This is a great capture! It doesn't just happen by accident, it must have been in the stars to take that pic! Thanks for sharing.
