Meteors August 14th

Much less smoke and a clear sky. Saw more meteors this morning than yesterday. Nice night, just the sound of a deer barking at me.
I noticed a question to someone else on the subject of knowing where objects, like the ISS, will be and when. Besides Spaceweather, there is Calsky.com.. It can be a bit challenging, at least for me, to understand it all, but pretty much all objects in orbit can be found there. As far as knowing exactly where to look and when, the best thing I've found is Stellarium. It's free planetarium software that has given me no problems at all. Download, update, away you go www.stellarium.org. Excellent software. You can also install plugins for the comets. For instance you can see exactly where ISON is. Great way to plan ahead and know exactly where to look. Go back 30,000 years and see the difference in the sky. Can't say enough good things about it. But the best part is the cost. 0...
