Hiked the Elwha river where the old Lake Aldwell used to be. No one there except a biologist tracking river otters. This is one of the coolest places, big old growth stumps just as the loggers left them over a hundred years ago, huge King salmon finding their way upstream, flotillas of Canadian geese, new growth flora, and lots more. You have to see this!
