Rainier Golden Sunset Meadows

Last of the Golden Sunset Meadows

Had a chance to visit Rainier earlier in the month as the flowers were peaking. This shot captures the fog that began to roll in as the sun was setting and casting a golden glow on the meadows of wildflowers. This is several 50mm vertical shots stitched together to bring the viewer closer to the flowers while providing a broad visual expanse. Pano stitching also avoids the distorted look of a wide angle lens. www.mikereidphotography.com
