Where did this come from?

I have never seen a bees nest this big

I walked down our driveway to get the paper and there was a big bees nest laying on the ground below the cherry tree. Not sure how it got there. The wind might of blown it down from the tree. It is full of bees. My husband will have to figure out a way to get rid of it without getting stung.

This not a "bee" nest. As a honey beekeeper, we are very sensitive about protecting honey bees. These are yellow jacket or bald-faced hornet nests. There is a big difference. Please don't call these "bees" as honey bees are very gentle
