M42 & M43

Clear night

Pretty clear after midnight. These are a few of the several
hundred shots taken last night. The image of Orion (M42) and
M43 is a 1-minute exposure at ASA 1600. Comet ISON is still
quite faint (magnitude 10.7) but can be found by using the
coordinates at the web sits http://theskylive.com/ison-tracker. A 2-minute exposure was needed to see the comet at
5:45am Sunday.
