Comet ISON & Mars

Transit of Comet ISON & Mars

A composite image of 2 photographs shows both Comet ISON and
Mars in the early morning sky. I used two bright stars that appear in both images to align the individual frames. You can start to see the green tail of the comet ISON is currently a magnitude 9.95. I compiled a stacked image of Orion (M42) while waiting for the comet to appear from behind my trees. Never get tired of photographing Orion. Its
always a beautiful object to observe.
