The Thrill

The Thrill Band

I was on my way home last night from work and decided to stop off at a local bar to meet a friend and catch the last of the World Series. After watching the Sox win the World Series and some fun conversations we decided to stay and listen to some live music. After the first act a new band approached the stage called The Thrill. It was announced that it was their first show and I thought "oh, this will be interesting" After the first song I was hooked. These guys brought back real rock and roll and likened them to the early days of AC/DC but with a bit of Nickleback in their sound.

They always say if you catch yourself tapping your foot and nodding your head, you like what you hear. Not only did I like what I heard but I have a song stuck in my head, "Hey little girl". Catchy song and great band.

So, if you like live music and rock and roll you need to look these guys up. I have a feeling they might be a band that will rise in the local live music scene.

Don, Actually I liked what you and the drummer did in playing. Don't bet me wrong I liked the music but nothing more ticks me off is to find a musician with an ego when they are a no name......So, I would have a talk with your lead singer.

I play bass for The Thrill and I'm flattered to be compared to Nickleback. In fact, I'm ecstatic that anyone even noticed us with all the other great acts we played with at the Skylark open mic last Wednesday!

So I see you didn't think the reference to Nickleback was correct. Well maybe if you put your ego aside and realize that when you're a no name and someone puts a little comparison to a VERY Successful band, you should appreciate it you lost a fan!
