M42 (Orion)

Clear cold night

The image of Orion is a stack of 20-second exposures ISO 1600(a total of 11 minutes) taken with an Orion short tube 80mm
guide scope and a Nikon D3000 DSLR. The full image of the moon was taken at 1/80 sec. with an ISO 100. The close up image was taken with a 2.5X Barlow. It was down to 12 degrees around 11pm.
