Mars, Moon & Saturn

Moon and Planets over Mt. Rainier

Took these shots around 1:30am Friday morning with a
stationary tripod and a 18 -55 lens (for the wide angle picture) and a 200mm telephoto lens for the Moon & Saturn image. The wide angle image was taken at 1/60 sec ISO 200.
The Moon and Saturn image is a composite of two images
directly overlaid. The Moon half was taken at 1/160 sec ISO
200 and the right half (with Saturn) was taken at .6 sec. at
ISO 100. Conditions tonight should be good for higher power
imaging.
