Mars images March 23

Mars geting closer

Took series of images of Mars last weekend as it nears its
closest approach to Earth on April 14th. Each image is a
stack of 150 frames (out of 2000) taken with a DFK21AU04.AS
video camera and an Explore Scientific ED127 telescope.
A total lunar eclipse also occurs on the evening of April 14th and going into the early morning hours of April 15th.
Image stacking was done with AutoStakkert (freeware) and
processing was done with Adobe Lightroom 4.4. I'm hoping
Steve (in the weather department) is able to arrange clear
skies for that evening.
