Seattle Police armed with assault rifles surround Capitol Hill house just off Broadway and make an arrest Tuesday afternoon.
Tuesday July 15, 3:30pm Seattle, Capitol Hill. A dozen or more Seattle Police officers surround a Capitol Hill rental home Tuesday afternoon heavily armed with assult rifles. They demand over loud speaker that a certain person in the home come out with his hands in the air. Over time, several young men and women emerge from the house one-by-one and are taken into police custody but later released at the scene. The target suspect was arrested and taken away. Police did not enter the house, but tension was high as officers armed wtih automatic weapons and shotguns crouched behind cars, aimed at the house, and blocked off the busy road from pedestrian and automobile traffic just off the North end of Broadway near new high-end condo developments.
