Today, July 16th, a river was born - right in the middle of Kelsey Creek Park! Officials redirected the waiting water and in moments it began its first journey over the newly laid river rock, wending its way between the gigantic tree stumps harvested from some faraway forest. What a sight! And what a delight it will be to watch the surprised salmon as they make their way up this newly created river to lay their eggs in the Fall.
