2 views of Saturn

Skyview from inside the dome

The colors of the Stars become very apparent in this
15-second exposure looking through the dome of the
Observatory on April 30th at 2am.The image on the left was taken with a DSLR attached to the telescope tracking mount. Saturn is a stacked image taken with a Imaging Source Video camera (DFK21AU4.AS). The image of the moon was taken May 1st around 9pm (1/15 second ISO 200).

Took my new 12 inch out last night for first light because the sky seemed so clear and stable. Got great views of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and M104. Glad you enjoyed the clear skies!
