Trifid Nebula

Early morning nebula

Took this image of the Trifid nebula last week during our clear sky nights. A stack of 60 single 90-second exposures
taken with a 6-inch refractor and a Nikon DSLR. The image is full frame as it appears in the DSLR. The nebula
is low on the horizon (15 - 20 degrees)in the south around 2am. This series of images were taken between 2:30am and 4:00am May 1st.
