As rc says, no winglets. Also, the only 787 that's near completion had all of its paint done; the next nearest will only be used for ground testing, no flights. I believe Colin has it right.

I saw the Boeing chase plane praticing at Paine Field a few days before flight of the 777F. My guess is that these are the two you saw over Kenmore. However, I like Colin's guess better.

no winglets it is a 777 freighter

No definitly not the 787. That thing is nowhere close to flying yet. Those colors are boeings colors not just the 787.

It is the new VTOL line of Boeing fast attack/bomber. It has verticle lift and stealth capabilities. It also is used as a pschycological weapon. It has loud speakers that play Brittany Spears music, which saps the enemies ability to fight.

There is a 777 sitting at Boeing field with the new paint job simmilar to Boeing's new Hydroplane. Looks to me like it was a photo opp. Flight to take pictures to be used in Adds.

That is the 777F. I work the 737 delivery field where flight test has it parked. It has the blue and white Boeing paint scheme.

That is the new 777 freighter. I worked at sea tac for a number of years, some of the planes i worked were 777's I can tell by the way that the wings have a high upsloped look to them while in flight, plus look at the size of the engines.

Did anyone see the two large jets ie: tanker and plane refueling over bellevue a few weeks ago?

Not Provided says ... on Tuesday, Jul 29 at 4:49 AM

IAM 751 says ... on Tuesday, Jul 29 at 2:04 AM

i work on the 787 line and it is definately NOT a 787!! That plane will be lucky to get off the ground... I believe what you saw was the new 777 freighter. the color scheme for all Boeing first flight planes is the same, blue with the white stripes..

Dude... are you on crack? says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 6:00 PM

It looks like a plane to me, has similar color scheme as the 787, but I think Komo would have been all over this by now...plus I'm sure Boeing will make a press release when they do their first flight.

Lightshow says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 5:50 PM

That was most likely the new 777 Freighter that was being flown on Saturday, and made a flyby of downtown Seattle about 2 hours later.

B777F

i saw it... says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 5:11 PM

er.... my mistake. I meant to say Boeing 787 =) the markings are on the tail.

i saw it! says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 5:09 PM

I believe the plane you saw was the Boeing 777. 3pm is about the same time i saw it over the beacon hill neighborhood. it was also followed closely by a military jet. i'm guessing an f-18 or some sort. it was at Boeing field as of yesterday evening

David says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 4:39 PM

I saw it too. We were in a golf range in Redmond and it was flying at a low altitude along with the smaller plane flying behind it. We thought it was a Boeing 787 test plane. IT definitely had the Boeing colors but no graphics.

Mike says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 4:31 PM

it's a 737 flying out from Boeing. The planes from Renton do not have a paint on them as of yet. Once it reaches boeing field it gets' the customer paint...

Zac says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 4:16 PM

That is the first 777 freighter, it is in Seattle at Boeing field for testing.

Dude... where's my plane? says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 1:40 PM

What are you talking about?... that is just a weather baloon oh and swamp playing with the earth magnetic field gas and is actually it is a secret meeting of the illuminati and they cashed in their frequent flier miles.... Dude... where's my plane?

Tim says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 12:25 PM

well you see it has a chase plane with it right? Possible but i doubt it since this 787 project is so hyped. Maybe 777 freighter

scott roe says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 11:23 AM

My dad works for boeing and can clearly identifiy that it is a boeing play......most posible could be a 737 or 767...write me back at scottbroe@gmail.com.....my dad also said 787 is not ready for fight...

not privided says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 11:15 AM

Carl says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 9:58 AM
