Back backed to Camp Muir to spent the night in the snow field and experienced a gorgeous sunset and sunrise. Watched climbers return to Paridise as they hiked down from the Summit and past Camp Muir early in the morning during the sunrise. Camp Muir is such an uplifting experience that everyone should do it someday. We dug into the ice and snow and kept warm in my down sleeping bag. The air was fresh and cold after the sun went down and was nice and warm during the day.

Interesting, my husband is out there and was to summit with two of his friends today (Wed, 8/6), I am waiting for his call. He called last night and said it was beautiful and clear and could see Mt Adams, Hood & St Helens, said it was gorgeous.
