I was birding at the Lake Hills Greenbelt in June 2014.The LHG is located in SE Bellevue, WA. I was on the dock of Larsen Lake at the north end of the greenbelt when I saw the Great Blue Heron catch a fish of about 12 in. It then proceeded to soften the fish with its bill and get it turned around so its head was going in first. In one quick motion it tilted its head and swallowed the fish. It happened to fast to get a photo until the fish was in the throat of the heron.
