In preparations for my daughters birthdays, I was looking for ways to save money. I was having their birthday party decorated with Strawberry Shortcake. Not wanting to spend the big dollars for an already decorated cake or paying for a "special" cake pan that had the lines to decorate on, I took my "jack of all trades, master of none" skills and made one myself. I took the idea from a website and freehanded the decoration on the cake. Without any previous attempts or any cake decorating classes I think it turned out pretty good! Just goes to show if you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything! (I also made a very cute pinata in SSC as well.)
Not everyone needs to be a professional!
