Just before Christmas 2007 a big white rabbit wandered into our front yard. We had no idea where he camefrom and figured it was someones pet that had escaped. We managed to get it into our fenced back yard. He explored our yard, nibbled on our plants, and settled under our deck. Mr. Bugs (named by my husband) has been with us ever since. He roams around the yard, loves digging in the garden and hidding under our shed. At the time we had 2 Shiz-Tu dogs and they became accustomed to having Mr. Bugs around, even playing and chasing each other around the yard. Sadly we have lost our dogs but still have Bugs. He is now coming into the house "checking" things out. Each week we buy him carrots & green leafy lettuce, no iceberg for him, and grain, but I think his favorite is our strawberry plants on the deck. We have had to put wire around any plant that we don't want consumed by him. He'll chase my husband around the yard like they are playing tag. Our friens and family always ask, "How's Mr. Bugs".
