Thursday evening around 8:30pm a Good Samaritan who was paddle surfing in Shillshole bay responded to calls for help from the water and shouts from the beach and rescued one of two drowning men. The coast guard and EMS arrived shortly after and searched for second swimmer. It is unknown whether or not the second man was found. More details and photos at www.emilyweaverbrown.typepad.com/
