The Zoo Is In My Backyard. Who Knew!?

I am disabled in a wheelchair and a friend said you need to get out & see your own backyard (meaning the many wonders that Washington has to offer). I started by seeing the Woodland Park Zoo & got a welcome shock when I was looking at the African Savana & a Peacock strolled right in front of me (on the path) & opened its beautifull plumage. Needless to say, it was the highlight of my day! Next stop...Leavenworth, on the Train!~
