(Poulsbo, Kitsap County) Poulsbo Fire Department and Poulsbo Police responded to a rollover trailer onto a vehicle at 11:52 this morning on Highway 305 and Forrest Rock, near Taco Time. The corner of the job-type trailer shack landed on the front windshield of a Honda Element. The male driver of the Honda, a Poulsbo resident, was transported to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton for minor injuries. “It was that man’s lucky day,” said Poulsbo Fire Department Captain Warnke, “a few inches closer and the outcome would have been much worse.” A semi was towing the trailer and apparently entering highway 305 from Forrest Rock, heading north, when the trailer over-turned. A small passenger vehicle was also struck and its rear hatch window was broken. Highway 305 was closed to one lane in each direction for one hour.
