New Carissa -- Salvage complete*

On September 22 at 5:22 pm the last large piece of the New Carissa was removed from the Pacific Ocean, cut in two pieces, and brought aboard the jack-up barges of Titan Salvage. This short and scratchy video was taken during the moments of that final separation from the water.

*There were still some small pieces which, by now, may have been retrieved by Titan divers.

Excellent photos, Gene, thanks for keeping us up to date and sharing this great experience! I really didn't know if they'd be able to get her out! It has been an awesome task. I'm sure it wasn't always comfortable being out there taking pics. Tks
