ACT OF KINDNESS TOUCHES COMMUNITY

IF YOU LIVE IN LAKE STEVENS YOU MOST LIKELY KNOW WHAT THE "CHICKEN" IS, WHO "CHRIS PRATT" IS, AND THAT THERE IS A TRAIN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LAKE.
NOW, ADDED TO THOSE LITTLE NOTES OF FAME IS ASHLEY POINTE'S OWN PAUL BURDEN.
EVERYDAY PAUL RIDES HIS SCOOTER TO THE EDGE OF THE SENIOR COMMUNITY TO SIT AT THE ROAD, AND WAVE TO THOSE PASSING BY. IT HAS BECOME SO MUCH OF A DAILY ROUTINE, THAT THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY THAT DRIVE BY EVERYDAY LOOK FOR PAUL ON A REGULAR BASIS. SOME HAVE BEEN HEARD SAYING THAT IF HE IS NOT THERE WHEN THEY GO BY, THEY ARE REALLY DISAPPOINTED.

EVERYWHERE HE GOES IN LAKE STEVENS HE IS RECOGNIZED. PAUL'S SIMPLE WAVE AND GREAT BIG SMILE HAS WARMED THE HEARTS OF BOTH YOUNG AND OLD.

EVERY DAY YOU HERE THE HORNS BLOWING, AND YOU KNOW PAUL IS AT THE CORNER. YOU ESPECIALLY NOTICE IT AROUND 2:30 WHEN THE HIGH SCHOOL LETS OUT. THE HIGH SCHOOL KIDS LOVE IT, AND THEY ALL LOOK FOR HIM.

ONE DAY A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT STOPPED, AND ASK PAUL IF HE COULD SIT WITH HIM AND WAVE TOO. PAUL SAID ABSOLUTELY, AND THE YOUNG MAN STAYED FOR SOME TIME. THEY HAD A GOOD TIME JUST TALKING AND WAVING.

MANY HAVE STOPPED ALONG THEIR WAY TO TALK TO PAUL, AND TO THANK HIM FOR MAKING THEIR DAY.

IF YOU ASK THE 76 YEAR OLD SENIOR AT ASHLEY POINTE WHY HE TAKES THE TIME TO DO THIS EVERYDAY, HE WILL TELL YOU, "HE JUST WANTS TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY, AND IT MAKES HIM HAPPY TO SEE THEM SMILE."
HIS GIFT OF GIVING HIS TIME TO THE COMMUNITY SHOWS A LITTLE KINDNESS GOES A LONG WAY!!!

Like the story, I recommend you take off the caplock in the future and have someone check your spelling. You used "here" for "hear". I'm not bringing this up to be a grammar nazi, I believe you could have a future writing.

I live in the north Lake Stevens area and drive by Ashley Pointe quite frequently. Me and my daughters watch for Paul everytime we go by.It always makes us smile when we see him waving and my daughters always get excited. He's a good example 4 us all
