Community Choirs sing for N. Helpline

The Community Choir Concert will take place on Sunday, November 2nd at 3-4:30 p.m. at
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Shoreline.

Plan to attend this lively and inspiring musical experience. Freewill donations to benefit North Helpline and the Lake City/Northgate Food Bank

will be gratefully accepted. North Helpline helps prevent utility shut-offs and evictions. It also provides emergency food, hygiene packs, diapers, baby food, etc.

In these tight financial times, the foodbanks and help lines are stretched to keep up with the needs of the community! Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will provide some matching funds.

Participating choirs and vocalists are as follows:

Haller Lake United Methodist Church

Lake City Christian Church

Lake City Presbyterian Church

Wedgwood Presbyterian Church

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church

The choirs will combine in a Mass Choir to sing three songs, including the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.

Sojourners, gospel singers

Laurie Solheim, soloist

The emcee will be Dave Howry, Chairperson of the North Helpline Board.
