Students involved in the Seattle University School of Law Criminal Justice Society are learning Murder 101 (http://criminaljusticesociety.org/murder-101/). Students are currently working on two separate Seattle-area murder cases. The Murder 101 Project allows students the opportunity to work on a murder case organizing discovery, summarizing witness statements, experience court appearances, understand investigative processes, and write about legal issues that matter. This is an opportunity for law students to graduate with real world experience. All students who participate have the opportunity to go to court hearings, read the discovery, attend depositions, investigate the case, and write memos to the rest of the team.

The project was started by Donna Larsen who was last seen on Channel Four working on Trial Diary (www.trialdiary.com), a project she hoped would get her into law school. As you can see, it did.

You have certainly brought a lot to Seattle University with the Criminal Justice Society and Murder 101. I hope you are recognized for that!
