Poppies on Hwy18 256th

Covington Nature

I am addicted to flowers, and have spent the last few years collecting them. The one I treasure most is the Heirloom Primrose my mother gave me. She said it was a wedding present to my great grandmother from her mother in law, who both lived in Poulsbo. I also love poppies. One day last year I got on hwy 18 at 256th and found these bright red poppies everywhere. It was stunning. But this year they were gone. I'd like to know what happened to them, and if this is part of the DOT art program, I am all for this kind of natural beauty. Bring back the poppies.
