I was walking home last night and stopped to take photos of the trees and lights in the night at belmont st and republican st. I had been smelling what I thought was an electric smell, and heard the windows of the house next to me breaking. I looked up and there were flames crawling out the window on the top floor of the house. After calling 911 and seeing that the house was for sale and looked as though no one would be inside I started taking video and photos. This video is as the fire department arives. Look at the guy in the window of the building next to the fire. He did not notice everyone outside waving at him until the fire trucks arrived then he grabs his goods and leaves. That is when I zoom into the fire and really get some strong video of how fast fire can destroy a house. I was glad I was there to able to call 911. And my photo before I saw the fire, that turned out very well.

I'm pretty sure that's 11th and Republican, NOT Belmont and Republican, as I live one block away on 11th and Mercer.
