Just after a winter storm passed through Whidbey Island on Sunday, December 14, many children could be seen outside building snowmen, sledding having snowball fights and just frolicking in the snow.
Building a snowman in her back yard is "Emily" She used candy, carots, sticks, erasers, spiny ribbon and even a Lei to decorate her Snowman. Emily says this is the first snowman she has ever built.
Now Emily waits for her snow man to melt, but with the upcoming storms, and cold temperatures, this reporter doesn't think that is going to happen anytime soon!
