The winter storm that has dropped snow on most of western Washington hit the western Strait of San Juan De Fuca with strong winds and four inches of snow here at Chito Beach Resort, eight miles west of Sekiu, WA. on scenic highway 112.
The last 24 hours has brought this sparsely inhabited section of the Strait three to four inches of snow accompanied strong winds and gusts in the 30 mile per hour range.
Currently we are under clearing skies and sustained winds of nine miles per hour.
